Scott passed away at Hospice Home of Eastern Idaho. He was born to LaVier Grant Reeves and Mayda E. Anderson. He attended Eastside and Longfellow Elementary schools, O.E. Bell Junior High and Skyline High School. On September 26, 1975, he married Sherrie Christopherson in Blackfoot. They raised two daughters in their home in Idaho Falls, where he worked in the electrical distribution field for 37 years. He spent the last two years working at JC Sales and Service with son-in-law, Gary. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, camping, classic cars, road trips, motorcycles, shooting, electronics, and crashing & rebuilding computers. Survivors beside Sherrie included: children Becky Lynn (Gary) Covert of Idaho Falls and Tanya MaRee (Randy) Mitchell of Mountain Home; siblings Michael (Linda) Reeves of Rigby and Teri (Jim) Bell of Idaho Falls; and grandchildren Mackenzie, Joe, Justin, Josh, and Hayley. Preceding were his grandparents and parents. Services held on January 27th at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue.
