Rosie was the daughter of Mary Charles and Richard Romack Howard County, Indiana. Rosie was a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph Order in Tipton, in her early life. After a brief marriage and divorce in Howard County, Indiana, she moved to Miami, Florida, where she worked in the Treasurer's Office at the University of Miami.

Among her proudest accomplishments were three great adventures: the 3,800 Mile Walk for the Earth from California to Washington, D.C. (1984), the Europe Walk for World Peace (1985), and the Trail of Tears Walk through the Southeastern U.S. (1986).

She is survived by five nephews and nieces: Joseph Tragesser of Hammond, Indiana, Catherine (John) Devine of Fort Myers, Florida, Julia (Tom) Wojciechowski of Norwalk, Ct., Richard and Christopher Tragesser of Crown Point, In. and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Betty, and four infant siblings. She will be remembered for all her good deeds throughout her life and her love of genealogy which she shared with many.
