A longtime resident of Metairie and native of Tulsa, Okla., he was born on Nov. 22, 1950, and died Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at age 60.
He was the beloved husband of 25 years to Catherine Favalora Armbruster Richardson, loving father of June Christine Armbruster, of Crystal Lake, Ill., devoted son of Juanita D. Richardson, of Baton Rouge, and the late James D. Richardson, and devoted brother of Janis Richardson (Keith) and Jay Richardson (Janet), all of Baton Rouge.
He was the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews and will also be missed by his pets and companions Ali, Scooter and Zena.
Friends and family will hold J.D. in their hearts with love and fun memories for all time. In keeping with his wishes, after a long battle with cancer, he will be cremated.
