Husband of Elizabeth Garner Isbell.
In 1850: Lived in Franklin County, Georgia.
1860: Lived at Easom Hill, Polk County, Georgia.
1870 U.S. Census Mortality Schedule: Polk County, Georgia: Isbell, Benjamin F. age 47 died Sept. (1869) (some descendants state he died in Pike County).
Burial site is uncertain but thought to be buried at Shiloh Cemetery at Easom Hill where one of his brothers and a number of other relatives are buried. Shiloh was the center of the relatively remote community very near the Alabama state line. His grandfather Rowan was buried in Alabama and his mother had lived there in later years.

Benjamin F. Isbell was the seventh generation of the Isbell family of Virginia.
