DAVENPORT — Memorial services to celebrate the life of Marian Warner will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2017, in the Koning Chapel, Ridgecrest Village, Davenport. Private burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the chapel.

Marian passed away peacefully at 3:15 a.m. Dec. 28, 2016, three months short of her 99th birthday.

In the last years of her life, she was taken care of in a loving way by Ridgecrest retirement home, Davenport. She was a nurse by training, mother of five and wife of the late John Ward Warner II.

She was born March 28, 1918, in Sioux City, Iowa. She lived in Iowa, and later Wooster, Ohio, most of her life. She will be remembered by her kindness and service in the lives of those fortunate to have known her.

She is survived by a sister, Lois; brother, Lester; four of her children, John Ward Warner III, Paul Lester Warner, James Albert Warner and Lois Jean Warner, and their wives; 10 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Ridgecrest Village.
