Johnny Adams
John M. "Johnny" Adams, age 72 of Patterson, passed away Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
He was born January 4, 1945 in Patterson, MO, the son of James and Augusta (Cline) Adams.
He worked as a tour bus and semi driver and had owned and operated A&J sealing and striping for over 22 years. He attended New Liberty United Baptist Church.
Johnny married Bonnie Wills March 21, 2006 at Poplar Bluff and had lived near Patterson for many years.
Preceding him in death are his parents, James and Augusta Adams and 3 brothers, James, Robert and Charles Adams.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Adams, of Patterson, 2 children, Tracy Way and her husband Steve, of Tulsa, OK, Michael Adams and his wife Diane, of Tulsa, OK, 5 step children, Aaron, Wills, of Patterson, Rahlonda Davis and her husband Dennis, of Poplar Bluff, Sam Wills, of Piedmont, Kevin Wills and his wife Lisa, of Eldorado Springs, MO, Sherry Rhea and her husband Doug, of Piedmont, and one brother, Harold Adams and his wife Gloria, of Patterson.
Also surviving are 3 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Sunday at the Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel in Piedmont. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM Sunday at the funeral home chapel with Elder Tom Willis and Rev. Harold Adams officiating.
Interment will be in the Patterson Cemetery
