Cecil L. Ford, born in Jefferson, Indiana, in 1917, raised in Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on August 31, 2010 in Stockton, CA. He is a veteran of World War II, fought Rommel in Africa, and served in the Philippines and Korea. While in Vietnam he worked on building approximately 30 bridges and later became project superintendent for building runways for seven Air Force bases. Later in life he went onto heading the Maintenance Department for Heavy Equipment and Training for Local 3 at Rancho Murieta in Sacramento, CA.
He married Antionette Freni after World War II and is survived by his two daughters and grandchildren.
