Joe M. Bello, 68, of Turlock died of natural causes Saturday at Emanuel Medical Center.
Mr. Bello was a native of Relvinha, Calheta, Sao Jorge, the Azores. He lived in Turlock 22 years. He was the owner of Bello Calf Pens for 10 years. He was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Fontes Bello of Turlock; children, Joe V. Bello and Angie B. Raposo, both of Turlock; brothers, Vita Belo of Gustine and Rui Belo of Hilmar; sister, Maria De Lourdes Sousa of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; and four grandchildren.
A Mass will be at 10 a.m. today at the church. Burial will be follow at Turlock Memorial Park. Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Chapel in charge of arrangements.
