He was a retired employee for the City of Louisville Solid Waste Department and a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, a daughter, five sisters, three brothers, and seven grandchildren.
His funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at his church, 3315 Dixie Hwy, with burial in Louisville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Friday at A.D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W. Chestnut St.
