Bobby Raymond Dean died Friday, January 20, 2017 in his home in Marietta, Georgia after an extended illness. Born April 26, 1946 in Thomas County, (Thomasville), Georgia, he was the 11th child and 8th son of Nathan Dean and Margaret Thomas.
The 7 brothers and 1 sister predeceased him.

He served in the U.S. ARMY and was a retired musician, carpenter, and painter.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy McGlamry-Dean, originally from Moultrie, Georgia; 3 daughters: Karen Ann Evans of Moultrie, Buffy Garcia-Foust and son-in-law, David Foust of Villa Ricca, and Monica Wiesener of Marietta; one son, Afif McGlamry, and
daughter-in-law, July Davies of Smyrna; 3 Nieces: Ann Ward of Pennsacola, Florida, Juanita Kuipers and Jean Smith of Thomasville; 5 nephews: Harold Dean of Live Oak, Florida, and Buddy, Larry, Wally, and Terry Dean of Valdosta and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Visitation and funeral will be at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Visitation: 8:30am-10:30am., Funeral: 10:30am-11:15am. Burial will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton at 12:30pm
