Graveside services for Mr. Gardner will 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Woodford County. David Clinkenbeard will officiate. Burial with Military Honors will follow. No visitation will be observed.
A native of Scott County, he was born July 15, 1925. He was a veteran of the US Marines serving in World War II in Iwo Jima and was a life long member of VFW Post 4075. Mr. Gardner was a retired self employed flooring contractor and former employee of Goins Floor Covering. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
Mr. Gardner was preceded in death by his wife, Addie Keith Gardner: his parents, Everett Ford and Alice Mae Greenup Gardner; a brother, Wilburn C. Gardner and a sister, Louise Eddington.
