Bonnie G. Norrod, 81, of Londonderry, N.H., formerly of Mount Clemens, died Monday, January 15, 2007, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, N.H.
She was born on Aug. 11, 1925, in Cookeville, Tenn.

Mrs. Norrod lived in Londonderry for a short time and formerly resided in Nashua, N.H., for five years and Mount Clemens for more than 50 years.

She enjoyed music, especially gospel and bluegrass. A homemaker, her life revolved around her family. Relatives described her as a loving wife and a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Norrod of Londonderry; son, James D. Norrod of Nashua, N.H.; grandchildren, April Pedroza of Milford, N.H., Heather Smith of Amherst, N.H., Billy Petty of Londonderry and Tami Petty of New York, N.Y.; great-grandchildren, Douglas and Bailey Pedroza, and Sierra and Josh Goodson; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Donna Petty; and parents, George and Barbara A. Phillips.

A memorial reception will be held 2-5 p.m. Thursday at the Rockingham Christian Church, 5 Industrial Way, Salem, N.H., followed by a 5 p.m. memorial service. A private family burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Milford, N.H.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Road, Merrimack, NH 03054.
