She was born on February 18, 1938 in Rudyard, Michigan to the late Walter and Irene Poirier. Sarah was an active member of Pensacola Baptist Temple Church and a retired bookkeeper.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James; and her brother, Bob.
Sarah is survived by her son, Terrence (Wanda) Sanders; daughters, Cynthia (Tim) Tockey and Christina (Chris) Pearl; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 1 brother, Norris (Kathleen) Foster; and 1 sister, Katherine.
