BLALOCK Robert E. Blalock, Sr., age 75, of Columbus, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012 at Summit's Trace Healthcare Center. Retired from Lucent Technologies. Attended The Ohio State University and was a lifetime member of The Ohio State University Alumni Assoc. Member of D & S Group for over 20 years; associate member of FOP and a Buckeye Booster. Preceded in death by parents Paul and Elizabeth Blalock, brother Charles, daughter Meisha, wife Gail and sister-in-law Eleanor. Survived by brothers, Paul L. Blalock, Jr. of Westerville and Nate Blalock of Stone Mountain, GA.; sister, Caroline Blalock of Columbus; children, Pamela (Louie), Robert E., Jr. (Adrianne Sue), Mark Eric and Roderick (Elaine) all of Columbus; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews and special life friend, Lynn Page. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, Wednesday 6-9 p.m., where service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2012. Interment Union Cemetery.
