Ms. Shirley Lanier Naylor, 77 of 405 Salem Circle, Salemburg, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.
She was born December 21, 1939 in Duplin County and was the daughter of the late Elmo and Cora Lee Cole Lanier. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons, Ricky Lynn and wife Ann Naylor of Clinton, Mickey Ray Naylor of Salemburg; daughters, Jackie and husband Hugh Herring of Roseboro, Tammy and husband Glenn Parker of Autryville, MacEllen and husband Terry Brown of Newton Grove; eight grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 5:00pm Wednesday, January 18, at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro, with Reverend Jimmie Weaver and Reverend Ken Turner officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to SECU Hospice House, 426 Hospital Road, Smithfield, NC 27577.
