Christopher Mullins Obituary

MULLINS Christopher Sean Mullins, 52, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014 while living in the Philippines.


Sean was born on December 1, 1961 in Jacksonville, FL. Sean was raised in Arlington and attended Terry Parker High School. Sean worked in the jewelry business at Jacobs Jewelers in downtown Jacksonville. He then joined the family business, Beacon Contracting Group, working with his father, Roy Mullins and brothers and sister. Sean married Janet King Mullins in 1985 and later moved to the Atlanta area.


Sean is survived by his children, Christopher Sean Mullins, Jr. of Jacksonville and Jamie L. Hayward (Jason) of Douglasville, GA; his grandchildren, Christopher Lee Mullins, Chase James Hayward and Connor William Hayward; His sisters and brothers, Joy Bellamy of Philadelphia, Michael Mullins (Beth) of Statesboro, GA, Nancy Mullins of Philadelphia, Sonny Mullins of Statesboro, GA and Mary Glenn Jernigan (Donnie) of Statesboro, GA; Nieces and nephews, Mary Allyn Bellamy, Betsy Bellamy, Cody Jernigan, Luke Jernigan, Rush Wells, James and Katherine Fraley, Bradley and Brandon King and Zack and Matthew Bodden; His uncle and aunt, Joe and Harriet Dillon of Savannah, GA; as well as many cousins, family and friends.


Sean is predeceased by his loving wife of 17 years, Janet King Mullins, his parents Roy and Julie Mullins and brother in law, Alan Bellamy.


A Memorial and Celebration of Sean s life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the home of Joe & Harriett Dillon in Savannah, GA.
