Kelly was born in Lubbock, TX. He graduated from Trinity High School in 1985. Kelly received his Associates Degree in Applied Science in Electronics from DeVry in 1992. For the last 25 years, Kelly worked in the Information Technology field serving as a Manager, Systems Analyst and Administrator as well as in Technical Support. He spent the last 30 years in Grapevine, TX.

Kelly spent the last 25 years with the love of his life, best friend and wife. He was a loving and supportive husband and best friend. Kelly was an even more amazing father to a beautiful daughter for the last 9 years. He was most passionate about his family and relationship with his daughter. Kelly also had a great love for his constant companions and beautiful cats.

Kelly had a great passion for learning and had the keen ability to share his wealth of knowledge with others. He loved computers from a young age and taught himself as well as influenced others greatly in the computer field. Kelly greatly enjoyed gaming, Classic Camaros, guns and gun rights, playing poker with his friends, reading, watching movies and enjoying the simple things in life.

Kelly was a devout Christian. He was generous, loving and kind and always had the ability to put others first despite his own circumstances. Kelly loved spending time with his girls and cats. He enjoyed every moment and was a monument of love and strength for his family and friends. His faith never waivered in his struggles. Kelly was an inspiration beyond words to all who knew him and loved him. He will be forever missed and remembered by his loving family and friends, who find comfort in knowing that they will reunite with him in our Lord's Heavenly Kingdom.

Kelly Glen Ballard is survived by his loving wife, Janelle Jean DuBois, their daughter Lauren Elizabeth Ballard and his mother Nora Marie Chastain, and father Glen Aron Ballard.
