Massena-Richard T Haley (Dick), 73, died Jan 19, 2017 at Upstate University Hospital Community Campus in Syracuse. Richard was born to George and Cora Thiebert Haley in Massena on Feb 17, 1943. He attended Massena schools and graduated from Massena High School in 1961; continuing at the University of Michigan obtaining a Master's degree in BA. He became a CPA in 1966 and moved go CA. He opened his own CPA firm in 1978 and owned a number of other businesses retiring in 2003. Richard is survived by three daughters, Darcey and John Meddings of Massena; Susan and Michael Kroll of Redondo Beach, CA; and Kasey and Tyan Leahy of Beverly, MA; and 3 granddaughters and a grandson; 5 great grandchildren; a sister, Mary Burt Sullivan of Massena; brothers, Jack (Gloria) of Norwood and Pat Haley (Sherry) of Raymondville. Richard was predeceased by his sister, Betty Gabri; and brother George Haley. A celebration of his life at the home of Darcey and John Meddings in Massena.
