David Muncy, 76, of Wallins passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Harlan App. Reg. Hospital. Born on March 10, 1940 in Beverly, KY. He was a retired nurse for over 27 years of service and believed in the Pentecostal faith, He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Muncy and Jonie Helton Muncy; one daughter, Altha Muncy and one son, David Michael Couch; two sisters, Darlene Brown and Gabriel Chasteen. David is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jessie Caldwell Muncy, Wallins; one daughter, Treva Gail Muncy, Loyall; one brother, Lloyd L. Muncy, Wallins; three sisters, Lucille Whitehead and husband Arnold, Loyall; Maxine Cobb, Wallins and Sally Yvonne Weaver, Ohio; four very special niece, Marilyn Frost, Connie Brock, Robbin Blevins and Tammy Roark; and two specials friends, Juanita and Harry Curtis. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Loyall Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2017 in the chapel of Loyall Funeral Home with Reverend Perry Long and Reverend Jeremy Blevins officiating. Burial will be in the Park Howard Cemetery, Wallins, KY with the Wallins Fire Department members serving as pallbearers. Loyall FH in charge of arrangements.
