Born in Columbus, Goldie was the daughter of Newton Eugene and Jessie Ann Myers Sanford. She married Robert Henry White, Sr. and he preceded her in death.
Goldie was a homemaker in her own home, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving Goldie are her daughter; Jessie (Thomas) Young, Columbus; her son, Robert White of Jennings County; eight grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. Goldie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, a sister at a young age and four brothers.
There will be a funeral service for Goldie on Monday, January 23, 2017at 10:00 in Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th St.. Burial will follow in Garland Brook Cemetery.
