He was the son of Alexander and Rachael A. Lee Jarvis.
He was married to the former Ethel Penny on Oct. 21, 1922.
Besides his wife he leaves one son, Dr. Charles A. Jarvis, Staten Island Marine Hospital; one sister, Mrs. William Rich Cross, Greenfield, MA; one brother, Leon M. Jarvis, Ilion; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Harold L. Jarvis, April 17, 1947.
