Gregory Scott Linart, age 46, of Johnstown, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady.
He was born in Norwich, Connecticut on February 1, 1970, a son of John Linart, Jr. and Katherine Simonds Puffer.
Gregory worked for several years as an Environmental Technician for Precision Industries in Schenectady. He was a member of the Johnstown Moose and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, snowmobiling and outdoor activities.
In addition to his parents John Linart, Jr. (Susan) of Astor, Florida and Kathy Puffer (Lonnie) of Walton, he is also survived by his son Jared Linart of Johnstown; two brothers Jody Linart (Jaime) of Caroga Lake and Timothy Linart (Christine) of Ephratah, one sister Stacie Linart of Johnstown, two stepbrothers Lawson “Skeeter” Puffer of Troy and Girard Boglioli of Otego and two step sisters Lesia Kennedy of California and Christina Arbogast of Florida and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
