Mary H. Waldron, age 66, of Coalton, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Four Winds Community in Jackson, Ohio. She was born April 25, 1950 in Webster Springs, West Virginia to the late Adam Eckridge Hamrick and Violet Madelin Frederick Hamrick. Mary was a graduate of Webster Springs High School and a Veteran of the United States Army. She was a former nursing assistant and a former cafeteria worker for the Wellston City Schools. Mary was a faithful member of the Coalton Free Will Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, secretary of the Women's Group and very active with Vacation Bible School. She was a former Commander of the D.A.V. Jackson County Chapter 45 Ladies Auxiliary and a volunteer with Buckeye Community Services, where she enjoyed going each week and having church services and Bible lessons. Mary had a passion for teaching others, singing at church, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Gary L. Waldron; children, Phillip Waldron (Judy) of Beaver, Nicole Ann Mineer (Kevin Markin) of Wilkesville and Crystal L. Davis of Coalton; grandchildren, Laura, Gary, Cristen, Nick, Adam, Stephanie, Stephen, Cameron, Phillip and Nicholas; great-grandchild, Graycen; brothers, Harvey Hamrick of W. Va., Wally Hamrick of W. VA., Watson "Wade" Hamrick of Virginia and Elbert Hamrick of North Carolina, as well as numerous nieces, nephews cousins and friends. Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters. Calling hours will be Saturday from 5 to 8 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Sunday at 1 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Simpson officiating. Burial will be in the Elk Cemetery in McArthur.
