Survivors include his daughter, who was the joy of his life, Aiya Willow; father, Richard Powers; mother, Linda (Baser) Stastny (Don); sister, Allison Edelen (Jeff); nephews and niece, Spencer, Griffin and Isabela.
A service to celebrate Stephen's life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2017 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave. Visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of customary expressions, donations may be arranged through the funeral home to establish an education fund for his daughter, Aiya.
