Vanetta A. “Peg” Garber, 90, of Warsaw passed away on January 19, 2017 at 4:00 AM at Millers Merry Manor in Warsaw. She was born November 19, 1926 in Norcatur, Kansas to Erhard and Eulalah (Chappel) Rydquist.

She graduated from Warsaw High School in the Class of 1944. On September 14, 1947 she was united in marriage to Albert C. “Gabby” Garber who preceded her in death on March 8, 2009.

She was a teller for Lake City Bank for 40 years and had also worked for Kline’s Department store and Skelgas. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son; Jon (and companion Jane Eaton) Garber of Claypool, Indiana, three daughters; Lana Garber of Wabash, Indiana, Janet Bilyew of North Manchester, Indiana and Sue (and spouse Mike) Sands of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Brittany (and spouse Robbie) Olive, Amber (and spouse Mike) Feltner, and Lance Sands along with 5 great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister; Treva Mann.

She was preceded in death by her husband and 2 grandsons; Jason Bilyew and Brock Bilyew and a great grandson; McKale Olive.
