Wilma Jean Huggins Neal, 83, of the West Armuchee Community passed away peacefully at Our Country Home Assisted Living Facility in the Villanow Community surrounded by her family and a loving staff on January 18, 2017. She was a loving wife and a great Mother to her children, daughter, Anita Neal Shattuck, son-in-law Phil Shattuck, son, Brian Windom Neal and daughter-in-law Anita Head Neal.  She was the best Grandmother ever to grandchildren, Cole, Brandon and Ashlee Shattuck, John and Jacob Neal. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years John Windom Neal, parents, Cecil Franklin Huggins, Vera Huggins and Delta Huggins; brothers, Troy and Waymond(Sonny) Huggins, sister, Orene Bowman, brother-in-laws, Ed Bowman, Bob Fitzpatrick, Herschel Davis and Joe McClure. Surviving siblings include Lebron(Myra)Huggins, Smyrna TN, Joel(Barbara) Huggins, Deauana Fitzpatrick, Jerry(Carolyn) Huggins, Glenda Davis all of the W Armuchee Community, Katherine McClure, LaFayette, sister-in-law, Annette Huggins, LaFayette. She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church where she taught the pre-school Sunday School class for more years than anyone can remember and also served as the Secretary/Treasurer as well as many other jobs in the church.  She worked Dell Rhubb Chenille plant years ago but quit to stay home and raise a family. Wilma did some volunteer work and did various small jobs in the community.  She loved working in the yard, cooking, canning, freezing and spending time with her grandchildren.  She had many friends that the family would like to thank for being there for her all of these years to support and love her through her lengthy fight with the awful aggressor that took the loving and kind Wilma that we knew way to soon.  While we will all miss her smile and hugs we know that she has gone to be with God and will no longer suffer.  We also know Daddy was waiting at the Pearly Gates alongside Our Lord to welcome her home and those of use that knew her well know that is what she was looking forward to.

Funeral from the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church 4686 West Armuchee Road, Summerville, Ga 30747 on Saturday, January 21st at 4 p.m. with Pastor Joel Miller and Pastor David Autry officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers are Cole Shattuck, Brandon Shattuck, John Neal, Jacob Neal, Troy Fitzpatrick, and Andy Huggins.

Family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Building fund.

Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, LaFayette.
