Jeffery was born March 10, 1955 in Welch, W.Va., to the late Laura A. (Green) and Homer J.R. Rose. He served in the Army and was a member of American Legion Post 158.
He is survived by loving wife of 36 years, Ruby (Kissinger) Rose; three sons, Jeffery "J.J." Rose II, Mark Rose, Matthew (Victoria) Welch; two daughters, Michelle (Nick) Dotson and Randi Rose; grandchildren Cerenity Dotson, Cloey Dotson, Adrianna, Sheabryn Welch and Jasmine Welch; brothers Donald (Peggy) Rose, Alvin (Bonnie) Rose, Earl (Ann) Rose, Michael Rose; sisters Sandra Honaker, Shirley Spears, Juanita (Mike) Good and Carolyn Sue (Anthony) Adams; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion Community Room for friends and family.
