Pam Porter, a resident of Colbert, Oklahoma, and talented singer/entertainer, left this life too soon on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the age of 53 years and 26 days. She was born on December 24, 1963 in Fort Stewart, Georgia to L.W. and Georgia Fay (Singleton) Morton. Pam married Thomas Porter in Sherman, Texas on August 3, 1993 (23 years ago).

Pam was a beautiful, talented, creative woman. She was a singer/entertainer by profession. Pam was a natural born artist utilized a variety of mediums when expressing herself through art. She loved being outside where she photographed nature, and animals. Pam was known for her keen eye and the ability to capture rare moments with her camera.

Mrs. Porter is survived by her husband, Thomas Porter of the home; daughter, Jocelyn Porter of Denton, Texas; son, Jordan Porter of Denton, Texas; sister, Pattie McCown of Denison, Texas; nephews, Richard and Duane McCown; five grandchildren; and five great-nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Porter was preceded in death by her parents, L.W. and Georgia Morton; daughter, Brittany Porter; brother, Paul Morton; and step-father, Ray Eugene Shone.

A memorial service in honor of her life will be held at a later date.

Services are under the direction of Holmes Coffey Murray Funeral Home, Durant, Oklahoma.
