Glenda Mary Gordon, age 66, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017. She was born in Vidalia, Georgia on February 20, 1950, the daughter of Marie Bramblett Duke and the late Samuel Glenn Densmore, Jr. She was a retired cashier with Walmart in Lithia Springs, Georgia. She was Baptist by faith.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald "Ron" Gordon; daughters: Tammy Marie Courtney, Donna Jean Normington and husband, Harry; mother: Marie Duke and husband, Bill; step-daughter: Christy Frances Gordon; step son: Ronald Jeffery Gordon, Jr.; grandchildren: Michael Courtney, Charlie Courtney, Tyler Justus Mobley, Dylan Macy Mobley; three great grandchildren; twin sister: Brenda Marie Golden; half-brother: Glenn Densmore III and wife, Tara; brother-in-law: Robert Michael Gordon; sister-in-law: Stella Marie Gordon Shores.
Per her wishes, she was cremated and a Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Douglasville with Rev. Josh Agan officiating.
