She was born in Vidalia, Georgia on February 20, 1950, the daughter of Marie Bramblett Duke and the late Samuel Glenn Densmore, Jr. She was a retired cashier with Walmart in Lithia Springs, Georgia. She was Baptist by faith.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald "Ron" Gordon; daughters: Tammy Marie Courtney, Donna Jean Normington and husband, Harry; mother: Marie Duke and husband, Bill; step-daughter: Christy Frances Gordon; step son: Ronald Jeffery Gordon, Jr.; grandchildren: Michael Courtney, Charlie Courtney, Tyler Justus Mobley, Dylan Macy Mobley; three great grandchildren; twin sister: Brenda Marie Golden; half-brother: Glenn Densmore III and wife, Tara; brother-in-law: Robert Michael Gordon; sister-in-law: Stella Marie Gordon Shores.
Per her wishes, she was cremated and a Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. at Hightower's Memorial Chapel in Douglasville with Rev. Josh Agan officiating.
