Buddy worked for Holloway Grocery Store in Pearl as a deer processor since the age of sixteen. He would work for Stark Brother's Nursery during the day and then go to work for Holloway's in the evening. He also worked for the Pearl Big River Fish Company for a period of time.
Buddy loved the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, trapping and coon hunting. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving is his wife, Beverly; two sons, Chad Wooldridge of Pearl; Travis (Katharine Johnson) Wooldridge of Pittsfield; four daughters, Alisha (Randy) Carpenter of Pearl; Trista (Ralph) Wooldridge of Milton; Courtney (Balerio) Santiago of Louisiana, MO; and Anissa (Mike) Summers of Milton. Eleven grandchildren survive in addition to brothers and sisters: Timothy Wooldridge of Milton; Kenneth (Hayon) of Kentucky; Steve (Stephanie Dell) Wooldridge of Pittsfield; Ed Adbagg of St. Louis; Brenda (Randy) booth of Pearl; Debbie (Vicki Newingham) Wooldridge of Woodson; Diana Medina of Pittsfield; and Diana Douglas of Missouri. Numerous nieces, nephews and a sister-in-law, Teresa (Deon Nation) Shanks also survive. Buddy was preceded in death by his parentsd a niece, Amy Booth and a grandchild in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the Niebur Funeral Home in Pittsfield with Pastor Gary Wells officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Greenpond Cemetery near Pearl.
