Christopher "Chris" Thomas Casey
1962-2016
Christopher "Chris" Thomas Casey died unexpectedly in San Antonio, Texas on December 15, 2016 from an Aortic Aneurysm. He was born on April 4, 1962 in Houston, Texas. Chris attended Seton Catholic School and St. Thomas High School where he excelled in football and will always be remembered by his teammates for his outstanding game against Crosby. After high school, Chris attended The University of Texas at Austin where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. While at UT, Chris made many life long friends who will never forget his famous ATO chili dogs.
Chris married Sharon Singer in Houston, TX, and shortly thereafter, moved to San Antonio where he started C-Staff, a temporary employee staffing company. Chris's greatest joy was being dad to his two daughters, Katy & Lara. He loved to hunt, talk on the phone, road trips & movies. He was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in San Antonio and a supporter of the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO).
Chris was preceded by his parents, Francis Owen Casey & Hazel Lucille Casey. He is survived by his wife Sharon, two daughters, Kathryn 'Katy' Casey & Lara Casey, brothers Tim & Sean Casey and their families.
The family will have a private service in San Antonio. Friends in Houston will gather at a later date for a road trip to Lake Charles, LA in memory of Chris.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Thomas High School, 4500 Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77007 in Chris's name.
