Mary Jamison. Committed by A. D. Boren Judge of San Bernardino Co. March 3rd 1869. Age 42 years; native of United States; married, has 8 children, the youngest 3 months old - was last from Texas, occupation, farmer. The evidence of insanity is, she is incoherent in speech. This attack appeared 7 years ago - attacks appear from 4 to 6 weeks and last from one to five days; disease increasing - no rational intervals; no hallucination; has an incendiary disposition; is disposed to injure others when an attempt is made to control her - destroys clothing and furniture; has no insane relations; has been temperate; cause of insanity, hemiplegia (paralysis of one side of body); class, dementia; has been in the Asylum in Texas, while in the Asylum was much benefitted.
Admitted March 30th 1869. Has no property. Died June 24th 1871 of Marasmus (chronic malnutrition).
