Born in Poughkeepsie on August 27, 1987, he was the son of Terrence and Constance Lahey of Verbank. Patrick was an accomplished house painter, working most recently with Rogers Property Management in Saratoga. He could fix anything, and was an excellent mechanic. Patrick had a green thumb and enjoyed gardening. He cherished spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid fan of football especially the New York Jets, but more than anything in this world, he loved his son most of all!
In addition to his parents, Patrick is survived by his partner and the love of his life, Meghan Kennedy; his one month old son, Connor James; his twin brothers and their wives, Coleman and Dana Lahey of Poughkeepsie, and Jake and Trace Lahey of Poughkeepsie; his niece, Elliana; his grandfather, Francis J. Lahey of Cold Spring; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville followed by interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Millbrook.
