MRS. MARGILENE "MARGIE" DAVIS GRIGSBY, age 54, of Spencerville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday evening, January 18, 2017 at St. Rita's Hospital Hospice Care in Lima, Ohio.
She was born December 13, 1962, in Magoffin County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Virgal and Vondal Bailey Davis.
Margie was of the Apostolic Faith, serving the Lord for many years. She enjoyed attending church services, reading her Bible and spending time with her husband and children.
Margie is survived by her husband of 33 years, Earl Eugene Grigsby; two sons, Shamist Eugene Grigsby and James Matthew Grigsby, both of Spencerville, Ohio; one daughter, Nevaeh Justine Grigsby of Spencerville, Ohio; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Joe and Kim Davis and Michael Davis, all of Morehead, Kentucky; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Wanda Coffee of Olive Hill, Kentucky and Brenda and David Bolin of Morehead, Kentucky; seven nieces; three nephews; two great-nieces; and two great-nephews. She also leaves many other family members, church family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017, at the Mills Branch Apostolic Church in Olive Hill, Kentucky with Brother Tim Ruley, Brother Larry Joe Ruley, Brother Delbert Havens and Pastor Aaron Cydrus officiating. Burial will follow in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery in Olive Hill, Kentucky.
Friends may visit from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Mills Branch Apostolic Church in Olive Hill, Kentucky and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at the Church.
Eugene Grigsby, Shamist Grigsby, Matt Grigsby, Joe Davis, Michael Davis, and Gary Bailey will serve as pallbearers.
