Edna E. Twitty, age 83, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the family home with her loving family by her side.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Alonzo Twitty Sr. Edna and her husband organized the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church where she remained a loyal and faithful member until her death.
Visitation will be held on Thursday January 19, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Strong Thorne Funeral Home, 1100 Coal Ave. SE. Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 608 Avenida Cesar Chavez SE.
