MASON EUGENE MCBRIDE II, Was born March 2, 1962 to the late Mason Eugene McBride Sr. and Hazel Garvin McBride at Fort Pierce Memorial Hospital.
He attended school at Saint Lucie County Schools in Saint Lucie County. Graduating from Fort Pierce Central in 1980. He also attended several colleges Bishop in Texas, Delaware, and North Western Oklahoma.
Mason was known with many names Hollywood Genie Boy. He was employed with the International Longshore men’s Association for 33 years. He was also a coach for Little League Baseball and Pop Warner Football and Softball from 1997-2006.
Mason was united into Holy marriage with Joann Dawson on December 21, 1998. Mason slipped away from us on Tuesday January 10, 2017 were he no longer has any more sufferings.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Garvin McBride, Father, Mason Eugene McBride Sr., Brothers, Donald Garvin, Bennie Griffin, Terry L. Griffin and David Griffin. Sister, Cynthia Garvin and God-father: Clifford Barnes and many more which have gone on before.
Mason Eugene McBride family will miss him dearly and will always cherish his memories. Those left behind is his devoted wife: Joanne Dawson McBride of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters: Natasha Robinson, Jameka Dawson and Miesha McBride; Son: Mason Eugene McBride III; grandchildren-7; brothers: Albert (Patricia) Garvin, Bruce (Glenda) Garvin, Ronnie (Constance) Griffin, Leo (Shirley) Griffin, Micheal (Tammy) Griffin of Fort Pierce, Florida and Robert Lee Williams of California; sisters-in-law: Shirley Shavers Griffin of Rockledge, Florida, Regina Griffin of Alabama, Brenda (Terry) Dickson, Mary Minatee (Donald), Lorraine (Anthony) Monds, Wilhelmina Smith: brothers-in-law: Emmanuel Dawson, Cedrick Dawson, Michael Dawson and Theodore Dawson of Fort Pierce, Florida; god mother: Betty Barnes; god son: Derrick Thompson Sr.; god brother: L.C.
