Hilda Virginia (Fleming) Ours Sions, 98, of Keyser, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017, at the Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born on Jan. 28, 1918, at New Creek, she was a daughter of the late Lorenzey Dow and Lula Frances (Harrison) Fleming.
Twice married, she was preceded in death by both husbands, Evers Elmer Ours on Oct. 12, 1959 and Sampson John Sions on July 13, 2004; two sons-in-law, Douglas E. Haines and Gary L. Ebert; three sisters, Arlena Biser, Frances Wertman and Dorothy Lyon and four brothers, Marshall, James, Robert and Charles Fleming.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A 1937 graduate of Keyser High School, Mrs. Sions was employed for many years as a life insurance agent for Reserve Life Insurance Company.
She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed making wedding gowns and clothing for her children. She also enjoyed oil painting and crocheting. She was the oldest surviving member of the Sunnyside Church of the Brethren, New Creek, where she formerly served as a Sunday school teacher, member and past president of the Women's Fellowship and played the piano. She was also a former member of the Homemakers Association (CEOS) in Mineral County.
Surviving are her children, Evers Edward Ours and wife, Deanna of New Creek, Bonita Ellen (Ours) Haines of Keyser and Rhonda Faye (Ours) Ebert of New Creek; four grandchildren, Brenton T. Ebert and wife, Kim, Charles Evers Ours, Christine Junkins and husband, John and Lisa Ann Porter and husband, Tom; a stepdaughter, Kathy Worley and husband, Charles of New Creek; and four step grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Friday, Jan. 20, 2017, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Sunnyside Church of the Brethren on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Ed Weaver and Pastor Randy Shoemaker officiating.
Friends may also call at the church one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in the Thrush Cemetery, Antioch.
