Sally Bagley was born Selma Meta Kumm on August 2, 1907, in School Hill, WI. She died February 22, 2010, at home in Burbank.

Sally was the first American-born child for Anton and Augusta Kumm, German immigrants. She grew up among six sisters and one brother in St. Paul, MN, where she learned the value of hard work and thriftiness.

She lived and worked in Dodson, MT, Laurier, WA, and Coeur d'Alene, ID, before settling in Pasco in 1944. Sally was a homemaker and seamstress.

She enjoyed her family, gardening, fishing, canning home-grown vegetables, crocheting, reading, and one specific soap opera.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church of Pasco for many years. In 2000, at the age of 93, she moved to Burbank to live with her son and daughter-in-law.

Sally was preceded in death by three husbands, one son-in-law, and one grandson.

She is survived by her four children: Mary Jane Booth, Cheney, WA; Bob Blount (and Ginger), Spokane, WA; Tom Bagley (and Diane), Burbank, WA; and Cathy Tee (and Bob), Westport, WA. She also leaves 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Sally was a gracious and gentle lady with a wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed.

The family appreciates the services of Hospice at The Tri-Cities Chaplaincy, who made it possible for Sally to die as she had lived, with quiet dignity.

A memorial service will be held at First Lutheran Church of Pasco at 530 W. Bonneville, Pasco, on Saturday, February 6, 2010, at 1:00 p.m.
