MUSCODA - Leo B. Michek, age 77 passed away at the Methodist Hospital, Madison on Friday, September 9, 1977. He was married to the former Hattie Hatch in 1920. They farmed In Pulaski Township, Iowa County near Muscoda until retirement when they moved to Muscoda in 1964. He was a member of the St. John Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society. Mr. Michek was a past member of the Pulaski School board and served as Secretary for the Star A. Cheese Factory for many years. Survivors include his wife, Hattie, Muscoda; a son, Donald, Route 2, Muscoda; two brothers, Frank, Belvidere, IL and Alfred of Highland; six grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Ben (Annie) Minter and a great-grandson Richard Imhoff on July 4, 1977. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12 at 10:30 a.m. at ST. JOHN CATHOLIC CHURCH, Muscoda. The Reverend Laverne G. Meier will officiate. Burial will be in the St. John cemetery. Friends may call at the GODAGER FUNERAL HOME after 6 p.m. Sunday, September 11 where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
