Sandra Lee Fisher, 61, of McElhattan, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Geisinger Medical Center. Born in Jersey Shore on September 22, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Bervilla Chapman Riggle. Sandra attended Jersey Shore High School. On April 26, 1969 in Jersey Shore she married Donald E. Fisher who survives. From 1999 until 2011 Sandra was employed by Fulmer's Personal Care Home as a caregiver. Sandra adored her children and grandchildren and the time they spent together. In her early years she enjoyed knitting. Sandra also loved spending time with her husband on their boat on his fishing outings. In addition to her husband, she is survived by four children: Shelia (Richard) Herman of Lock Haven, Dawn (Steve) Hennessy of Lock Haven, D.J. (Dusty) Fisher of Beech Creek, and Brandon Fisher of McElhattan; and nine grandchildren: Aaron, Katie, Eric, Brayden, Jocelyn, Nariah, Chuckie, Angelica, and Brandon, Jr. Sandra was preceded in death by a brother, William Riggle. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Rev. Mark Riley officiating. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from noon until the time of the service. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC, 20004.
