adeline Modene Thompson, age 92 of LaPlata, MO passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, January 18, 2017.
Madeline was born on July 18, 1924 at South Gifford, MO a daughter of the late Ralph and Fay (Kelley) Poston. She was first married to Phillip Wallen, who preceded her in death and then was married to Logan Thompson who also preceded in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents, both of her husbands, a sister, Jeanny Talken and her son-in-law, Carrol Lee Bragg.
She is survived by a daughter, Carolyn Bragg of LaPlata, MO; a son, Ronald Wallen and wife Lisa of the State of California; 4 granddaughters, several great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Madeline lived most of her life in Macon County and was a graduate of the Elmer High School. After her health failed, she resided at the LaPlata Nursing Home for 4 years.
Madeline will be cremated and a private family service will be held at a later date.
Memorials in memory of Madeline may be made to the LaPlata Nursing Home Activities Fund and may be sent to her daughter, Carolyn Bragg, 407 E. Caldwell St. LaPlata, MO 63549.
