Sharon Evonne Whitehead, 70, a resident of Clarksville passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 in Clarksville.

She was born August 24, 1946 in Peoria, Arizona to Mittie (Cumbie) and O’Dell Slaughter

She was the beloved grandmother to Matthew Mink and James Dickerson of Clarksville and Ava Gillespie of Dover; Sharon is also survived by one daughter, Debra Dickerson and husband Jimmy of Clarksville; one son Lloyd Moore of Little Rock; one brother, Shannon Slaughter and wife Valerie of Dover; two sisters Shirley and Sandra Slaughter of Dover and one niece Heather Slaughter also of Dover.


Mrs. Whitehead is preceded in death by her parents, husband William “Billy” Whitehead of Dover.

Sharon loved being outside and teaching her grandchildren to grow things.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 28th at 10:00 a.m. at the Roller Cox Funeral Home Chapel.
