Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Hibbert will be conducted at 3 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Somerville First Baptist Church with Bro. Stan Smith, pastor of the church, officiating. Personal remarks will be given by Scott Riessen. Interment will be in the Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Suffolk, Virginia. A visitation for Mrs. Hibbert will be from 1 to 3 P.M. Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Somerville First Baptist Church. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mrs. Hibbert was born April 2, 1935 in Pennington, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank William Prall and Katharine Blackwell Prall. She was a 1952 graduate of Trenton Central High School in New Jersey and was married October 24, 1959 to Edmund Lee Hibbert who preceded her in death on February 26, 2009. Mrs. Hibbert was a homemaker throughout her life and was a former resident of Suffolk, Virginia from 1976 until 2010 when she moved to Fayette County. She was a member of the Somerville First Baptist Church where she was involved in the Royal Heirs Choir and the WMU. Her interests included counted cross-stitching, reading, playing games and special times with her family.
