Services for Mrs. Ellen S. Hektoen, 89, of 5650 S. Dorchester av., widow of the famous pathologist, Dr. Ludvig Hektoen, will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel at 316 W. 63d st. She died Friday in Norwegian American hospital. Dr. Hektoen died July 5, 1951, at 88. Mrs. Hektoen, a native of Sweden, was a nurse at County hospital when she met Dr. Hektoen. They were married in Sweden in June, 1891, by her father, a minister. Survivors include a brother, Dr. Martin Strand, 1539 Vincennes av., Chicago Heights, and two brothers in Sweden.
