Elizabeth (Betty) Glover, 58, received her angel wings on November 28, 2016.Betty resided in Symsonia, Kentucky for the last 17 years wither her companion Joe Connell. She was born in New Castle, Indiana and attended school at St. Anne's and New Castle schools. She worked at Pilgrim Foods in Hickory, Kentucky. Betty loved living in rural western Kentucky. She was creative and enjoyed drawing, painting, Chinese calligraphy, and making beaded jewelry. Betty loved to read and listen to music. Asked shortly before her death if she still considered herself a Buddhist, Betty replied that her beliefs and values were deeply rooted in Buddhism. Betty is survived by her best friend and companion, Joe Connell of Symsonia KY, daughters Raven Glover (Indianapolis IN), Heather (husband Jeremy) Barry of Callahan FL, and son Douglas (partner Amanda Snedegar) Glover of New Castle IN. Betty's siblings include William Max Glover of Jacksonville FL, Vickie McDonald of Atwater CA, and Holly McDonald, Lisa South, and Kristi (partner Bill McCaffery) Brandt from New Castle IN. Also surviving is an aunt, Pat (husband Tracy Cox) Humphries of Indianapolis IN and grandchildren Nick Glover of Connersville IN, Kendra, Elly, Elijah, Kevin, and Angel Glover of New Castle IN, Kristi, Kaddi, and Kayli Glover and Isaiah and Jasmine Barry all of Callahan FL, and Elizabeth Humphries-Cox of Indianapolis IN. Betty also had many generations of nieces and nephews.Betty was preceded in death by her mother Eloise Kay Humphries of New Castle IN, and her father, John Glover of Rushville IN, and her grandparents Cosby Humphries and Eva Lawless Humphries of New Castle IN.Betty made prearrangements to have her body donated for medical science.
