CHILD DIES OF DIPHTHERIA
Roy Easley, the nine year old son of M.T. Easley of the Red Top community, died Sunday at 11:20 a.m. of diphtheria. The child had been complaining for several days, but did not seem to be seriously afflicted, and a physician was not called until too late to effect relief. He was buried in the Easley burying ground Monday morning. The quarantine regulation is being complied with by the family. Their many friends deeply sympathize with those who suffer from this untimely bereavement.
