Bryan Helton, age 50, a resident of Seymour, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at his home. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church; and had been employed by The U.S. Postal Service for the past eleven years. Bryan was an avid fisherman, loved to ride motorcycles, fly radio controlled airplanes and his hobby was blacksmithing.

Bryan is preceded in death by mother, Vena Rhea Huskey; his grandparents, Mary and John Helton, Clyde and Ruby Huskey. Survived by father and step-mother, Blennie and Geneva (Buddy) Helton of Sevierville; step-brothers, Doug Maples and wife Tammy and Stacy Maples all of Sevierville; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and special friends.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-6:30 p.m., on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Shiloh Baptist in Seymour; with the funeral to immediately follow at 6:30 p.m., with Pastor Glen Metts officiating, family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m., Friday, January 20, 2017 at Berry Highland South Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m., graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Shiloh Baptist Church building fund, 1432 Shiloh Church Rd. Seymour, TN 37865. Berry Highland South Funeral Home in charge. 9010 E. Simpson Rd. Knoxville.
