James loved riding motorcycles and had a passion for cars, especially Cadillac's and Corvettes.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Elizabeth Holcombe; his son, Larry (Meredith) Holcombe; a stepson, Matthew (Dawn) Portzer; 7 grandchildren, Bradley Portzer, Alec, Madison, Emma, Easton, Reese, and Lucas Holcombe; and a brother, Gary Holcombe. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James Travis and Earlene (Nee Aldridge) Holcombe and his brother, Larry Holcombe.
