"WARREN - Jessica Van Rennselaer Despard Warren, of Essex, Massachusetts, loving wife of the late Samuel Warren, died at 87 after a long illness, at her home on January 26th. Mrs. Warren was a passionate reader and sharp wit who worked for environmental causes and education all her life. She leaves behind her sister Katherine Page of New Jersey and a brother, Clement L. Despard of Connecticut, her sons, Samuel, Henry, Hugh, Andrew, her daughter, Jessica Bennet, and seven grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations made in her memory to the Essex County Greenbelt Assoc. 82 Eastern Avenue, Essex, MA 01929 would be appreciated.
