He is survived by his loving wife, of 69 years, Frances Rivers Bailey; daughters, Karen (husband Mike) Sinyard, Pam Kennemore; sons, Roger (wife Darlene) Bailey, David Bailey; sisters, Miss Addie Bailey, Mrs. Monteen Mitchell; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews. Elliott was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Charles "C.L." Bailey.
Visitation will be from 4p.m. to 6p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017 at Hunter-Allen-Myhand Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home with Rev. Mike Sinyard officiating assisted by Pastor Adam Camp and Rev. Max McCord. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
